This policy explains what DateMio collects, why, and what control you have over it. It applies to the dating service, the community boards and the city pages.

What we collect

• Account details you provide: display name, email, age confirmation, city
• Profile content you choose to publish: photos, bio, preferences
• Messages you send through the platform, retained so conversations persist
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages requested

Location

City-level location powers distance filtering. Precise location is optional and off unless you enable it. You can change or clear your city at any time, and doing so re-runs your search results immediately.

Who can see your profile

Visibility is a setting, not a paid feature. You can remove your profile from search entirely and restore it later without losing your account.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences. Blocking them in your browser will end your session but will not delete your account.

Third parties

Some outbound links lead to other dating platforms. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies and this one does not. We do not sell member data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or delete your account and its content. Deletion removes your profile from search immediately and purges stored content on our normal deletion cycle.

Children

DateMio is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Accounts identified as belonging to minors are removed without notice.
