About DateMio
DateMio is a free online dating site and community. This page explains who runs it, what the site does and does not do, and the 18+ policy that governs every part of it.
You are 18 or over only. DateMio is an adults-only service. If you are under 18 you must not create a profile, use the community boards or continue to any partner offer linked from this site. If you arrived here by answering “No” to the age question on our homepage, that is why — and this page is where that answer leads, deliberately. Nothing on this page links onward to adult content.
What DateMio is
DateMio is a dating platform with a free tier that is genuinely free: profile creation, search, distance filtering and messaging do not sit behind a subscription. Alongside the dating service we run a community of discussion boards where members compare platforms, share what worked and disagree with each other about most of it.
How our community boards work
The boards are organised by topic — free dating, dating apps, local dating, adult and casual, cams and live video, chat and messaging, niche communities, and advice and profiles. Threads are open to read for anyone; posting requires a free account. Members can block and report from any post, and reports are actioned rather than queued indefinitely.
Our city pages
We publish a free dating page for every city where DateMio has members. Those pages describe how the service works locally, how to set a sensible search radius, and how to meet safely. We do not publish invented local statistics or made-up venue recommendations — if we cannot state something accurately about a city, we do not state it.
Partner links and how we make money
Some links on this site point to other dating platforms. Where a link is commercial it carries a sponsored or ugc attribute in the markup. DateMio itself is free to use; we do not charge members for messaging.
